SAVE THE DATE-CELEBRATION OF BARBARA LUMPKIN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES BILL

Finally,  after many years and the hard work of many nurse leaders the Barbara Lumpkin Controlled Substance Bill was passed and signed into law, making Florida the last state to pass this legislation. We have partnered with the Florida Nurses Association (FNA) in putting together a celebration of this monumental legislation. And who better to speak at such an event than Barbara Lumpkin herself.  She will be our featured speaker at this event. This celebration will be in lieu of our general membership meeting. The event will be held at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) on Thursday, May 12th from 6pm-8pm. I know this is short notice but we wanted to seize this opportunity to network with our colleagues at FNA and meet and hear the journey of the Barbara Lumpkin!! Registration will be sent out shortly. Please join us in this celebratory event.
