Operation APN Visibility: Watermelon Run
Posted about 8 years ago by Adonirei Alvarenga
One of the goals our organization has set out is to improve visibility of advanced practice nurses in the community. We'd like to increase the community's familiarity with what we do. One of the ways we have decided to accomplish this goal is to become actively engaged in community events.
The first event we will be engaging is the Watermelon Run hosted by Track Shack on 4th of July. The team with the most members will have a $500 donation made to a nonprofit supporting the military. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we gained visibility for being the largest team represented? We have the members! Will you help us by joining us and sharing this event with your colleagues and family members? (Non-APNs can join our team, too!)
We will be getting T-shirts made to promote conversations with the runners.
Date: July 4
Time: 7 am
Cost: $30 (when you register before June 20)
T-Shirt: $20
(You will be receiving a T-shirt from Track Shack for the race. However, our shirts will be specific to our team, for the purpose of increasing visibility. They will be ordered on June 20th, so orders must be received by the 19th, at midnight. )
Register for the race here: http://haku.ly/ace121

We have 3 days to romote this event. Please help us by sharing it!
