Watermelon Run FAQs

Happy Father's Day!

Here are some questions that have come up about our upcoming event, the Watermelon Run.  

1. When is the Watermelon Run?  July 4, 2017, at 7 am
2. What is the cost to join the run?  It is $30 (through June 20) for the race and $20 for our special CFAPNC t-shirts.  The actual price for the t-shirts varies depending on how many people order shirts.  Any excess funds will roll into the CFAPNC fund as a donation to the organization to help fund future events.

5. What does the T-shirt look like?  We will share that as soon as it is finalized.  It will say:  "What can an Advanced Practice Nurse do for you?  ASK ME!"
6. Why should I order a T-shirt?  The purpose of this event is to increase awareness of what APNs do.  We'd like to have a large number of people wearing the T-Shirts to generate buzz and start lots of conversations.  
7. Is this event only for members of our organization?  NO!  We have established a team with Track Shack, the organizer for the run.  The team with the largest number of members will have a $500 donation made to nonprofit organization supporting our military.  We would like to claim the title of the largest team.  So please have family members, work colleagues, neighbors, etc JOIN OUR TEAM!
