Qualifications: CFANPC member in good standing who holds an active APRN license
Nominations open Sept 2022 / Voting Oct 2022 / Elected Officers announced Nov 2022
The office term is February 2023 to February 2024

Elected Officer Opportunities:
- VP (President-Elect): Perform duties of the president in his/her absence. Considered President-elect and shall assume the office of President at the end of the term.
- Treasure Elect: Assist the Treasurer and perform duties in his/her absence. Shall assume the office of Treasure after the annual taxes are submitted.
- Secretary-Elect: Assist Secretary and perform duties in his/her absence. Shall assume the office of Secretary at the end of the term.
- Nominating Committee Chair: Advertise elections, call for nominations, and develop a ballot. Conduct voting. Present results.
- Membership Committee Chair: Ensure all current members meet qualifications for membership and are eligible to attend meetings.
- Hospitality Committee Chair: Promote the growth of membership. Assist with membership meetings sign-in tables & distribution of meeting materials.
- Program Committee Chair: Arrange speakers for membership meetings, including assistance with the venue, invitations, and sponsors.
- Continuing Education Committee Chair: Organize continuing education programming in CE Broker and keep educational records.
- Website Committee Chair: Assist with CFANPC website enhancement & maintenance.
- Scholarship Committee Chair: Coordinate selection of individuals to be awarded according to Board decisions. Revise criteria, policy, and procedure for scholarships to be voted by the board periodically.
- Social Networking & Media Committee Chair: Engage members by increasing communication via social networking interfaces. Serve as a resource to members wishing to utilize social media to help increase community awareness regarding all APRN roles.
To Note:
Treasurer in charge of funds and financial records. Oversee accounting procedures for handling & disbursement of funds. Post the financial status at each board meeting. File Florida Corporation Annual Report in March each year. Be a registered agent for the Florida Dept of State Division of Corporation. Post annual financial reports to board members and to members. Post next annual proposed budget to board members.
Secretary shall keep minutes at all meetings & conduct correspondence. Prepare Board meeting minutes. Prepare monthly general membership meeting minutes. Make reports as determined.
