CFANPC would like all members to celebrate each other in honor of 2022 National NP Week. Florida's Governor and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer have proclaimed November 13-November 19 as National NP Week. To honor NPs, we have several activities planned:
1. Nominate an inspiring or innovative NP in the Central Florida area. Tell us briefly why they are inspiring or innovative. (Board members are excluded from nomination but can nominate individuals). Click here to nominate an NP. One individual will be chosen to receive a free massage at Hand & Stone!
2. You are invited to attend FNPN's Regional Director Quarterly Meeting with Guest Speaker Vicky Stone-Gale speaking on Autonomous Practice: Building on a Legacy of Nursing Excellence. Register here.
3. Join us for the November Educational Meeting and General Membership meeting on Thursday, November 17. Click here to sign up or be added to the waiting list. Be sure to pick up your NP week gift at the door when you sign in!
4. Join the CFANPC kickball team for a game on Saturday, November 19th, 9am-12noon at Barnett Park. There is no fee, and food and drinks will be provided. Parking is free. Contact LaMisa Rayside here to join the team and RSVP. This is a family-friendly event!
5. Recruit 2 new members to join CFANPC between now and November 19th! Remember dues remain 1/2 price through the end of the year. Anyone who recruits 2 new members will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card! Contact us through ENP with the names of the 2 new members you recruited.
