Message From the President- Introduction

Greetings, Members and Colleagues,

I am honored to serve as president of this wonderful organization. I wanted to introduce myself to each one of you, as well as extend a welcome to our newest members who have joined in the last few months. My name is Krysta Sands. I joined this organization in 2017 as an FNP student and had no idea that years later I would be President after graduating. Over the past few years, I have developed a passion for this organization and what it stands for. The leaders of this organization have nurtured and contributed immensely to my leadership growth, and I'm delighted to be here.

Over the next year, my vision and that of the CFANPC Board is to continually fulfill our organization's mission, providing robust educational meetings for members, teach students the value of being a part of professional organizations while encouraging them to join, collaborate with our legislative leaders to keep members informed, and continue to connect with or partner with our Central Florida community. I truly look forward to a great year!

For our newest and returning members, we welcome you and hope you will find our organization a tool to facilitate growth in your journey as a nurse practitioner.

Next Thursday is our February monthly membership meeting, and I look forward to seeing you there.
