The Nursing Alliance for Quality Care and AANP are hosting a symposium about the important role that APRNs play in delivering higher quality, lower cost, primary care, and the provisions of nurse-led medical homes under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  The symposium will provide attendees an opportunity to understand the provisions and accreditation requirements for patient-centered medical homes, hear first hand from APRNs about innovative nurse-led homes, view quality performance data already gathered and analyzed, and acquire positioning and marketing strategies for nurse-led medical homes in the new health care environment that include accountable care organizations.  The symposium will be held on April 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the George Washington University Foggy Bottom Campus in Washington, DC.  The general fee is $150.  Fee for students:  $25.  Webcast $95.  Click on the link below to register and view agenda.
