What is the Next Step?
This bill moves to the House of Represenatives Healthcare Appropriations Committee.  It must be put on their calendar and pass this committee to move forward!

What should you do NOW?
  1. Contact members of the Health Innovation Committee. Thank those who voted yes for HB 547!  Request their continued support for allowing Nurse Practitioners to provide care to the citizens of Florida to the full extent of their education and training!

  2. Email the chair and the members of the Healthcare Appropriations Committee and ask them to put HB 547 on their calendar AND vote "Yes"! Remind them that the data supports NPs as safe, effective healthcare providers and that all healthcare providers in Florida must function at full capacity to effectively care for the citizens in our state!

Remember...together we can achieve more...let's don't talk about what "they" are doing..but rather what "you" are doing. It is our time!  We need every NP to get involved and let your voices be heard!  Feel free to comment and let us know what you have done to assist the progress of this bill!

In your service,
