Post Conference Update: 5th World Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension
The UCF Alumni Association and the College of Nursing invite you to a continuing education opportunity this fall. This program will provide a Post-Conference Update: 5th World Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension (PH).
Prior to the presentation, you will hear Dr. Mary Lou Sole, the new dean of the UCF College of Nursing address her vision moving forward for the college, ways to stay connected to the college and the UCF Alumni Association and enjoy networking with fellow nursing Knights.
The program will address recognizing patients who have early signs and symptoms suggestive of PH/ Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH), ordering appropriate screening tests to evaluate patients with symptoms suggestive of PH/PAH, evaluating screening test results to establish a putative differential diagnosis, referring appropriate patients to PAH centers of excellence for definitive diagnosis and utilizing a collaborative approach to determine the best therapy for patients with PAH.
Complimentary dinner and one glass of wine or beer will be provided. Only one dinner can be selected per alumnus/alumna.
